About Last Time They Won
Hundreds have tried, but so far only 23 clubs - from ten nations - have won the biggest prize in club football: the UEFA Champions League final (or the old European Cup, which had run since 1955).
Most of these 23 clubs are addicted to winning. And have not stopped since first putting their hands on the famous La Orejona or La Coupe aux Grandes Oreilles (literally, the cup with big ears).
But some have had less success than others.
On this website we count the days since the best teams in the history of Europe's top club competition last won any major* trophy in football.
(*) Domestic cups or league title (top division), UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League or UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup
All clocks start counting up two hours after the initial kick-off of the final match (or three hours if the match had extra-time and/or penalties shoot-out)
